Sunday 5/23 - Day 143
Tonight was the senior banquet at church. The seniors each had a time on stage with our senior high youth pastor. Then it was open mic time with all who attended having the opportunity to share their memories, advice, or perspectives regarding the graduate. It was very moving as these are the kids that we have watched grow up... it was also very long... 5hours!
Monday 5/24 - Day 144
Remember I said to keep watching for the "after"... well here is part of it. This is our front porch with the new burgandy colored sutters... to replace the green that were on the house when we bought it 13 years ago.
Spent part of my day at the local nursery picking out plants. The shrub is going to go in the spot that replaced one of the cedars that we pulled out last week... after Rick replaces the sprinkler water line that he broke with the shovel when he removed the bush.
Melissa at work... went to go buy 24 pack cases of pop for $3.88. Of course we had to drive out of our way to harass Melissa at work.

Welcoming family in town this weekend: My sister Kathy from CA and her husband Chris & my sister Marcia from MA with her husband Rich, Tyler, and Heather. I am so glad and thankful that they could make the trip!
Love all of the new stuff on and around the house! Looks great!! Now why would Rick go and break a water line? :)
