2011 Project 365 - Week 37

Sunday 9/4 - Day 247
My tomatoes and peaches are ready to can/freeze so 16 pints or salsa and 8+ quarts of peaches done today.  Thankfully Brian and Rick were able to help so that we were done in time to go the Blueberry festival with the Fishes.

Happy Labor day!  Rick's parents over today for Chinese food...

No picture today... spent most of the day shadowing a doctor for a perspective employer.

Still in Grand Rapids - Took Melissa out to lunch and was able to see her townhouse...  pretty nice for a college student.  4BR 4 1/2 bathrooms.

Finished the Twilight series... 4 books in 5 days. Was a good read but not what I call a classic.

Received my certificate from Ball State University... it is official!

Happy Birthday to Melissa - 20 years old today!

Back to a real life... had friends over for dinner and good conversation.  Felt so good to reconnect!

Okay, so my class is done.  All that is left is to study for the certification exam.  I am trying this week to get back in the habit of taking my photos.  Let's see how I did...

Rick is trying to get the sprinkler system fixed.  One of the valves has been stuck and it has not been "automatic" all season.  Julia is lending her expertise!

 Julia thought this was so funny.  I decided to go out for lunch with Rick and unknown to me Julia had fixed herself lunch while I was in the shower.  So I told her that she could just order dessert....  She told me not to say anything until the waitress took our order... at which time she says "I'll have the Triple Chocolate Meltdown".  She giggled so much when Rick said "I don't think so!"
