Here is my week... How was yours?

Day 17 - Sunday 1/17
Traveled to Indianapolis today for a college vist tomorrow at the University of Indianapolis.  Melissa is planning to study Physical Therapy in college and it was Health Professions Day.  When I attended Purdue there was a restaurant named Arni's. Any time we can find an excuse to eat there we do - it is like reliving a memory. Well... Indianapolis now has 2 Arni's restaurant and one is about 5 minutes from our friend's home.  Guess what we had for dinner?  Arni's BBQ pizza and Arni's jr. salads. YUM!

Day 16 - Saturday 1/16
The Snowball Winter Dance was today.  This is Melissa and her date Brandon.  They went with Julie and Mark.  From all the laughter and talking, I think they had a great time

This is Brian and his date Libby.  They went with another couple, Rich and Amber.  Amber is friends with Libby and Brian has been friends with Rich since Elementary school.

We served dinner to everyone before the dance. On the menu: Appetizers, Salad, Chicken Kiev, Rice, Steamed Broccoli, choice of desserts (raspberry cheesecake or brownie hot fudge sundaes) and sparkling grape juice to drink.

Day 15 - Friday 1/15

Received these bracelets from my sister Marcia - to wear in support of my Mom who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer...

Day 14 - Thursday 1/14
This is the finished diorama for Julia's spider monkey project.  Did you know that they have no thumbs?

Day 13 - Wednesday 1/13
Started my post-master's nurse practitioner certificate program with a class in pathophysiology.  Today was the first class.  Here is the 1400 page textbook that we will read this semester and my survival package: coffee and chocolate!

What is this... oh I remember... the SUN!!

Day 11 - Monday 1/11
Received my new camera today - no more taking pics on my camera phone.  Julia sat on my old one (wasn't that old - 8mo) and broke the lens - totally my fault for putting it on the couch beside me.
