Project 365 - Week 5

Where did January go??  This month has been fast and furious.  Well, this is my week.  Love to hear about yours!

Sunday 1/31 - Day 31
Received a very early call this morning from my Mom.  Her Meniere's disease was acting up and she was so dizzy that she was unable to walk to the bathroom without help.  No picture or post today...

Saturday 1/30 - Day 30

Okay so here's the story - last Sunday we realized that ISSMA solo contest was today and I ask Brian, "Brian have you called your accompanist?"  Guess what... He hadn't plus he did not have the original music, and didn't feel his solo was ready to perform.  I'm thinking "Well there goes six bucks (for the entry fee)".  To my amazement the accompanist met with him Tuesday.  His private lesson teacher found a copy of the music at a local music store and he performed today.  Not his best performance by far but the judge was full of grace today and gave him gold.  He even came to the hall told Brian his ranking was marginal but he gave him the benefit of the doubt.  On on hand I am thankful but on the other I'm not sure the lesson for the future was there...

What is this?
This is Brian numbering his measures at the last minute... after Rick had to go back home to get the forgotten music. Will he ever learn??

Friday 1/29 - Day 29

At what point do you throw these away???

Thursday 1/28 - Day 28

Waiting to go to our seats for Brian's Concert

Can't go without our lip gloss...

Where in the world is Waldo? - oops I mean Brian

Know these words are true... wish I could live by them all the time!

Tuesday 1/26 - Day 26

My sister Marcia, my Mom and I met my Aunt Diane and Cousin Brendan at the Bob Evans in Kalamazoo for brunch.  What a fun time we had!  Here are Mom, Brendan, Marcia, and Aunt Diane.
