Project 365 - Week 38

Life has gotten VERY busy.  My class involves 20+ hours of clinical a week, 120+ pages of reading, and assignments.  I am afraid my Project 365 photos are becoming even more hit and miss... Here is my attempt for this week :-)

Sunday 9/12 - Day 272

Julia was able to have a friend over after church and they played for a couple of hours in the spa... had a super time!

Brian found someone to do his favorite past time with... and got beat!

They were so worn out they had to rest...

Monday 9/13 - Day 273

Tuesday 9/14 - Day 274

Wednesday 9/15 - Day 275

Julia's class just finished reading Shiloh - was a hit with the class and they were going to watch the movie today so the teacher allowed them to bring in a pillow, blanket, and stuffed animal.  Such a simple thing but a big hit with the kids.

Thursday 9/16 - Day 276

Today is my 21st wedding anniversary and we planned to go to Bonefish for dinner.  Unfortunately, Rick has been working from 8-6 and then going back into work from 8-12:30.  Rather than be rushed and not fully enjoy it we decided to do a quick dinner together and claim a "re-do" next week (or when the network problems are fixed)

Friday 9/17 - Day 277

We get to see Melissa this weekend!!!  It is Family Weekend.  I had clinical in the morning, came home to do some laundry, and waited to see if Rick would be able to go with us.  We waited and waited and waited...  Finally at 5:30 he called and said he was on his way home... network was not fixed but not much that they could do until Monday.  Did not make it to take Melissa out for dinner but at least we made it.

Saturday 9/18 - Day 278

Took the girls to Bob Evans for brunch.  Julia spent the night with Melissa in the dorm which she loved...  they watched movies, ate junk food, and went to bed after 1 am.  No wonder they weren't ready to go eat at 11:30am...

In the afternoon, we took Melissa to find some rain boots and made a Meijer run.  In the evening we went to "Taste of Western Michigan".  There were all kinds of food vendors.  You had a card which they marked their restaurant off after you had sampled their food.  Highlight for me: The Melting Pot...  Chocolate fondue with fruit, pound cake, brownie, and rice crispie treat... YUM

Julia trying to carry four things at once... did pretty well!

Melissa and Julia

Ended the evening with a movie...  Saw Alpha and Omega in 3D
